About The artist
Art has always been my means of expression.
When I couldn’t articulate my feelings, I could draw.
One of my earliest memories is in elementary school, and we had
to write our own books for language arts. I have a collection of
about 30 book jackets that I drew because that was by far my
favorite part of the assignment. I think I only did one finished
story, the rest were all blank inside.

I'm experienced with many mediums such as encaustic, charcoal,
acrylic, oils, watercolor, oil pastel, conte, welding, ceramics and all bring much joy to see creation take different forms. I journey through bouts of color use and black and white. Murals have become a newer developed passion of mine, because after experimenting with drawing on larger scales in college, I feel a sense of freedom with a big canvas. I find great joy in utilizing the space to tell a story.
Throughout every piece of work I take on, my philosophy has always been to try and capture the feel of my subjects and infuse their energy into each piece.
Art will always be a part of my life and I have a passion for sharing
it with others and helping them to develop their own creativity through
self expression.
